Biography

Benjamin John Parrillo was an actor who worked in television for most of his Hollywood career. Parrillo began his acting career with roles in the series "Diagnosis Murder" (1993-2001), "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005) and "Frank Leaves For the Orient" (Comedy Central, 1998-99). He also appeared in "Charmed" (WB, 1998-2006). He also appeared in the TV movie "A Better Way to Die" (HBO, 2000-01). During the early stages of his acting career, Parrillo worked in films like the comedic drama "That Thing You Do!" (1996) with Tom Everett Scott. Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "Leap of Faith" (NBC, 2001-02) and "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-). In the early 2000s, he worked on the silver screen, taking roles in "Emmett's Mark" (2001) and the Sabrina Lloyd dramatic comedy "Bug" (2004). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "House" (2004-2012), "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-) and "Castle" (ABC, 2008-). He also appeared in "Headhunter" (2006). Most recently, Parrillo acted in "Zero Dark Thirty" (2012) with Jessica Chastain.
