Bernard Browne was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He had an early role on the television special "Long Island Fever" (ABC, 1995-96). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Taking the Heat" (1992-93), "Deadly Love" (Lifetime, 1995-96) and "Critical Choices" (Showtime, 1996-97). He also acted in various movies at the time, including "Extreme Measures" (1996). He also starred in the TV movies "Dogboys" (1997-98), "Ms. Scrooge" (USA, 1997-98) and "The Sweetest Gift" (Showtime, 1997-98). He also appeared in "Deliberate Intent" (FX, 1999-2000). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the dramatic adventure "Down in the Delta" (1998) with Alfre Woodard. He also appeared in the Kirsten Dunst comedy "Dick" (1999).
