Biography

Beth Dixon was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She began her acting career with roles in the series "Law & Order" (1990-2010), "Home Improvement" (ABC, 1991-99) and "The City" (ABC, 1995-97). She also was featured in the miniseries "Queen" (1992-93). At the time, she also appeared in movies like the dramatic adaptation "The Ballad of the Sad Cafe" (1991) with Vanessa Redgrave. Several more television roles followed in the nineties and the early 2000s, including stints on "Trinity" (1998-99), "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2001-2011) and "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Dark Tides" (Showtime, 1999-2000). She also landed a role in the miniseries "Stephen King's Storm of the Century" (1998-99). Dixon focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "Zero Hour" (ABC, 2012-13) and "The Blacklist" (NBC, 2013-). She also was featured in the TV movie "Game Change" (HBO, 2011). She also appeared in the Liam Neeson thriller "Non-Stop" (2014). Most recently, Dixon acted in the period drama "Infinitely Polar Bear" (2015) with Mark Ruffalo.
