Betty White’s Coming To ‘Community’

ALTBetty White, ladies and grasshoppers! She’s getting bigger and bigger every day that some time pretty soon, her little feeble figure is going to replace the little frog-like creatures that make up a bag of Sour Patch Kids!

But that day’s not quite here yet. She’s got a few more TV gigs lined up for herself, one of which is on TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland (with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendy Malick). And now we’re hearing about a tiny stint on NBC’s Community as highly respected, yet slightly off-kilter anthropology professor, June Bauer.

Rejoice! I’m sure I’m not the only one who believes the fireworks between Chevy Chase, Joel McHale and Betty White will make the ones we all saw on the 4th at the beach look like those stupid trick candles (that someone puts on your birthday cake if they want to knock you down from your birthday pedestal by making fun of your asthma). White’s episode might even be better than the show’s “Modern Warfare” episode, which was so good it was actually insane and I called out sick from work the next morning so I could watch it more. And considering Betty’s blatant success on SNL and in that Snickers commercial, it’s virtually impossible to over-hype anything she does.
