Beyoncé has been making headlines a lot recently — for her health, her reproductive system, her commercials, and her fashion choices — but the news has rarely focused on her music. That all changed late Monday when a leaked version of Beyoncé’s latest single, “Grown Woman,” hit the Internet.
We heard a snippet of the song in Bey’s Pepsi commercial (which has since been taken of YouTube), but this is the first time we’ve heard the song in full. In the vein of “Run the World (Girls),” “Grown Woman” is a get-on-your-feet-and-dance jam with a bit of a tribal influence. In a word, we approve.
