Country veteran Bill Anderson is undergoing surgery on his eyes to correct his vision.
The Mama Sang a Song crooner underwent a procedure to remove a cataract from his right eye last week (ends18Oct15) and will return to hospital on Wednesday (21Oct15) to treat his left eye in a bid to repair his vision.
“My cataract surgery went well today, and I thank each of you who whispered a prayer on my behalf,” he told fans on Facebook.com. “They did my right eye this time, and will do my left on the 21st.
“God Is Great – God Is Good is more than just the title of an album. It’s true every day, and I can’t wait to see His beautiful creations more clearly now than ever before. God bless you all.”
