Billie Holiday and The Roots to be inducted into Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame

Pennsylvania natives BILLIE HOLIDAY and THE ROOTS have been chosen as the 2015 honourees for the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame.
This autumn (15), the two Philadelphia music staples will be inducted to the Walk of Fame, and will also be feted at a celebratory gala.
In addition to jazz legend Holiday and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’s house band The Roots, also joining the Walk of Fame are Asleep at the Wheel frontman Ray Benson, hard rock band Cinderella, disco group the Trammps, and Broadway star Andrea McArdle.
The musicians will be inducted on 26 October (15).
