Throughout his Hollywood career, Billy Corgan performed rock music. Corgan worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including the Arnold Schwarzenegger and George Clooney blockbuster "Batman & Robin" (1997), "First Love, Last Rites" (1998), "Lost Highway" (1997) starring Bill Pullman, the Mel Gibson and Rene Russo hit "Ransom" (1996), "Singles" with Bridget Fonda (1992) and "The Simpsons" (Fox, 1989-). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Corgan devoted his time to various credits, such as "Any Given Sunday" (1999), "Stigmata" with Patricia Arquette (1999), "Spun" (2003) starring Jason Schwartzman and the Nicolas Cage and Diane Kruger smash hit "National Treasure" (2004). More recently, he tackled roles in "Chasing October" (2007), the Bob Costas documentary "We Believe" (2009) and the documentary "RUSH: Beyond the Lighted Stage" (2010) with Geddy Lee. Corgan also contributed music to the Russell Brand blockbuster animated comedy "Hop" (2011) and the Kenny Wormald dramatic adaptation "Footloose" (2011). Corgan also acted in "Algren."
