Biography

Billy Elmer rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his career. Elmer's career beginnings include film roles in "Ready Money" (1914), the adaptation "The Squaw Man" (1914) with Dustin Farnum, and "The Road Demon" (1921). Later, he tackled roles in the Joseph Cotten drama "The Magnificent Ambersons" (1942), "Silent Witness" (1985-86) and "Rock 'n' Roll Mom" (1987-88). He also appeared in "Showtime Comedy Club All-Stars III" (1989-1990). Toward the end of his career, Elmer acted in the Mark Christopher Lawrence comedy "Fear of A Black Hat" (1994).
