Billy Ray Cyrus told the ladies of The View this morning that he is no longer planning to divorce his wife of 17 years, Trish. He said he’s decided to work on putting his family back together, and admitted that it was wrong of him to direct his anger over the fact Miley was recorded smoking salvia at the creators of Hannah Montana, and now feels that fame is the real monster: “Now fame,” he said, “fame is a different animal. You’ve got to be careful with that thing.” Cyrus also said that things with his family are “the best they’ve ever been,” and even expressed that his relationship with his daughter has improved: “I feel like I got my Miley back in a way. I feel like we are the daddy and daughter that we were before Hannah Montana happened.” So clearly, he still considers Hannah Montana to be the enemy. It’s too bad though, because I bet you the creative guys behind that show believe Annie Leibovitz and her pervy eye had a little something to do with it all, too.
