Bob Simon’s widow sues over fatal crash

BOB SIMON’s widow has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. newsman’s cab driver after the star was killed in a traffic collision earlier this year (15).
The 73 year old, a longtime correspondent for current affairs show 60 Minutes, died in February (15) after the town car he was travelling in ploughed into a Mercedes in New York City.
Simon’s widow, Francoise Anne-Marie Simon, is now suing the driver who was transporting her late husband by filing papers at Manhattan Supreme Court over the accident.
She named Reshad Abdul Fedahi in the suit as well as bosses at the company he works for, Skyline Credit Ride, alleging they should not have allowed Fedahi to drive for them because he has previous speeding convictions.
She is seeking punitive damages.
