Biography

Booth Savage was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Savage began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as "Silence of the North" (1981) with Ellen Burstyn, the horror feature "Curtains" (1983) with John Vernon and the drama "Chasing Rainbows" (1988) with Paul Goss. He had an early role on the television special "Second Start" (ABC, 1988-89). He also was featured in the miniseries "Little Gloria... Happy at Last" (1982-83). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Hot Shots" (CBS, 1986-87). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Thanks of a Grateful Nation" (1997-98). In the nineties, Savage worked on predominantly television shows such as "Secret Service" (NBC, 1992-93) and "Wind at My Back" (Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), 1996-2001). He also starred in the TV movies "Survive the Night" (1992-93), "Thicker Than Blood: The Larry McLinden Story" (CBS, 1993-94) and "Ricky Nelson: Original Teen Idol" (VH1, 1998-99). He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Secret Service" (NBC, 1992-93) and "Wind at My Back" (Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), 1996-2001). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Missing" (Lifetime, 2002-05) and "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye" (ION Television Network, 2002-05). He also appeared in "Narc" (2002) with Ray Liotta. He also was featured in the TV movie "Nora Roberts' Sanctuary" (CBS, 2000-01). Most recently, Savage acted on "King" (Reelz Channel, 2012-14).
