Brad Pitt is no longer under investigation for child abuse. The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services has cleared the actor of all child abuse allegations.
Things were getting pretty dark for Pitt who is currently in a nasty custody battle with estranged wife Angelina Jolie. Jolie allegedly filed for divorce after a dramatic incident on an airplane where Pitt got physical with his children. Jolie was awarded temporary custody after the accusations, and reports surfaced of a dramatic video of Pitt’s airplane outburst. Both Pitt and Jolie were under review by the DCFS following the report.
Pitt denied the child abuse allegations, and TMZ reports that the investigation concluded on Wednesday. The department found that Pitt was not guilty of child abuse. This is certain to help the actor in his custody battle with Jolie, who’s seeking full physical custody of all six of their children. Now that child abuse is off the table, it’s looking favorable that Pitt will be granted joint custody.
