Hollywood actor Brad Pitt is adopting lover Angelina Jolie‘s two children, according to his publicist.
The Troy star has applied to become four-year-old Maddox, and nine-month-old Zahara Marley’s adoptive father, and if his application is successful, their surnames will be changed to Jolie-Pitt.
The couple met on the set of movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith, becoming an item in the wake of Pitt‘s January split with then wife Jennifer Aniston.

Pitt‘s publicist Cindy Guagenti says, “We are confirming that Brad Pitt is in the process of becoming the adoptive father of both children.”
