Biography

The origin of Brenda Benet's acting career goes back to when she was just 17 years old. Benet began her career with roles in "McHale's Navy" (1962-66), "The Young Marrieds" (1964-66) and the comedy "Beach Ball" (1965) with Edd Byrnes. In the years following, Benet appeared in "Days of Our Lives" (1965-), the musical comedy "Harum Scarum" (1965) with Elvis Presley and the Ray Stricklyn sports "Track of Thunder" (1968). She also appeared in "Wednesday Night Out" (1971-72) and "The Horror at 37,000 Feet" (1972-73). Toward the end of her career, Benet acted in "Walking Tall" (1973). Benet's husband was Bill Bixby.
