Brett Eldredge chooses World Series over CMA Awards

Die-hard Chicago Cubs fans Brett Eldredge opted to sit out the 2016 CMA Awards so he could watch his team in the World Series.
The baseball team’s win on Tuesday night (01Nov16) took the World Series to a deciding Game 7, which clashed with the 50th anniversary of the CMAs.
And Brett decided he’d rather be at the sports showdown in Cleveland, Ohio, than at the prizegiving.
“So a lot of people been wondering… 50th CMAs and Cubs are going to the World Series and it’s been 100 and something years. Which one do you do? Which one do you do?” Eldredge asked his fans via Snapchat early on Wednesday (02Nov16). “It’s been my family’s dream from my grandparents all the way down to my father and my brother and I and my whole family to go to the World Series.”
Eldredge will be taking his dad and brother to the World Series.
