Digby was discovered at his home in Stratford, London on Monday morning (01Mar10) and pronounced dead by paramedics. The cause of death was unknown as WENN went to press.

Digby began his career as a filmmaker, winning a junior BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Award in 1997 for his movie Words of Deception.

He later moved into TV and fronted a string of popular shows in Britain, including BBC’s To Buy Or Not To Buy, Open House and Holiday.

A spokesperson for the BBC says, “Kristian was a much-loved and talented presenter for BBC Daytime. He brought a real sense of energy and warmth to all the shows he presented for us and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time.”
