Troubled singer Britney Spears has been handed some good news in her bid to gain back custody of her two sons–she has finally been issued a driver’s license.
The pop star’s ex-husband Kevin Federline was this week granted physical custody of their two sons–Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1–because she failed to hand in a valid California driving license. She is also alleged to have failed to take a random drug and alcohol test.
However, the “Toxic” hitmaker was issued with an interim license from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) on Tuesday.
DMV spokesperson Mike Marando says, “She has fulfilled her requirements for a California driver’s license.”
Spears will learn later on Wednesday, at the next court hearing, if she can win back custody of her sons.
