Bruce Jenner‘s emotional and historic interview with Diane Sawyer, during which he revealed the truth behind his gender identity, has managed to accomplish an impressive feat: it trumped Kim Kardashian.
The stats following the 20/20 episode have come in, revealing that Jenner had 252% more consumption surrounding him the following day than Kim did the day after she posed nude for Love.
That’s more media consumption for any Kardashian or Jenner in the last three months (and there are a lot of them…and they’re so often getting naked).
Bruce Jenner also provided a huge boost for ABC (72% increase in online consumption), Diane Sawyer (765% increase), and E! (343% increase). Such a boost is the perfect thing to promote ABC’s upcoming May sweeps programming, as well as E!’s upcoming Bruce Jenner reality show.
Not a bad deal for such a groundbreaking revelation, eh?
