BTS, Coldplay to headline virtual iHeartRadio Music Festival

The iHeartRadio Music Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary with its first-ever virtual installment.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, some of the biggest acts in music are uniting in Los Angeles, California, and Nashville, Tennessee, where they’ll perform without a crowd to viewers at home.

“We worked closely with the artist community to create a safe way for them to step back on stage and perform for millions of their fans on the radio and television,” said John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises for iHeartMedia.

“It’s our commitment to help the artists whose music we play here at iHeart stay connected to their fans.”

BTS, Kane Brown, and Coldplay will headline the annual event, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and will be joined by special guests Khalid, Keith Urban, Migos, Miley Cyrus, Thomas Rhett, Usher.

Further acts have yet to be announced.

The performances will stream on The CW App and CWTV.com, and air on iHeartMedia Radio Stations Nationwide on September 18 and 19, 2020), followed by a two-night television event on September 27 and 28.
