Let’s be real here, the only good thing Cameron Diaz has contributed to pop culture in the last few years (save for the upcoming Bad Teacher, which may very well reverse my current feelings for her) is being named dropped in Troy and Abed’s La Biblioteca. Besides that? Knight and Day? Really? And also being named the fourth hottest on the Maxim Hot 100? I thought you had integrity, Maxim.
Anyway, Diaz is in final negotiations to star in What to Expect When You’re Expecting, which is unfortunately based on the best selling non-fiction book which director Kirk Jones hopes to transform into a strong narrative feature that will focus on five couples going through all the various stages of pregnancy as outlined in the book despite the fact that the book DOESN’T HAVE A STORY but it is still a recognized brand so it’s getting the treatment and this all just makes me want to throw up, oh my god. I’m pregnant.
