Carrie Fisher And Debbie Reynolds’ Emotional Oprah Interview Will Have You In Tears

Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds undoubtedly had an incredible relationship. The pair, who died within one day of each other, lived next door to one another and were closer than ever — but that wasn’t always the case.

In 2011, the Reynolds and Fisher appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and opened up about their incredible relationship including Fisher’s drug problems, the Elizabeth Taylor scandal, and how they came back from losing everything. Reynolds even admitted that at one point in time, Fisher didn’t speak to her for nearly a decade and it was heartbreaking.

Reynolds also tearfully discussed the times she thought she would lose Fisher to addiction.

“There have been a few times when I’ve thought I was going to lose Carrie,” she told said. “I’ve had to walk through a lot of my tears, but she’s worth it.”

The emotional video is peppered with the duos amazing wit. It showcases everything we love about Reynolds and Fisher — their talent, their smarts and their strength.

As reported earlier, Reynolds died of a stroke just one day after losing her daughter. According to TMZone of the last things she said was, “I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie.”
