It’s diaper duty time for Chad Lowe. The Pretty Little Liars star and his producer wife Kim Painter welcomed the birth of their second child on Thursday. And the proud father took to Twitter to announce the exciting news.
“It’s a girl!!!” Lowe, 44, tweeted. “And she’s as beautiful as her mommy (@ikimlowe) & big sister Mabel!! We are blessed!”

While Lowe was previously married to actress Hilary Swank for eight years, they never had kids together. Now, Lowe and his second wife, Painter, are quickly expanding their family. Their first daughter, three-year-old Mabel, was born just 15 months before the couple tied the knot on Aug. 28, 2010. Now, Mabel has a younger sister, and the little girl knows it. “[Mabel] knows she’s got a big job,” Lowe tells Us magazine. “She’s got a lot of things to teach her sibling.”
