Chayanne helps fan propose to girlfriend

Latin pop star Chayanne helped to make one female fan’s dreams come true after recording a special video message as part of her boyfriend’s proposal plans.
Rene Pastrana initially hoped to pop the question to his girlfriend, Gisela Torres, at one of Chayanne’s concerts, but after failing to get in touch with the singer to set it up, he decided to concoct a back-up plan.
He reached out to his friend and journalist Lourdes Collazo, who managed to contact the Puerto Rican star and have him record a personalised message for Gisela, which Rene then used to ask for her hand in marriage.
The happy couple, which is now engaged, has since shared video footage of Gisela’s big surprise on YouTube.com, including the sweet clip from her pop idol, Chayanne.
