Chic to headline festive Autism Rocks concert

Nile Rodgers and his band Chic are set to headline a Christmas fundraising concert for charity Autism Rocks.
The Le Freak stars will perform at a special festive concert, named Autism Rocks Sessions with CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers, at London’s Eventim Apollo on 23 December (16) to raise funds for autism research and support.
“CHIC and Nile Rodgers are set to ramp up the seasonal cheer and lead us right into Christmas with an unforgettable live show for fans and families,” Sanjay Shah, founder of Autism Rocks, said in a statement. “We are absolutely delighted that CHIC and Nile are lending their support to our cause. Autism is the fastest growing developmental disorder in the world and it is important to raise awareness of the condition.”
The event follows the Autism Rocks… Tribute to Prince! fundraisers, which ran over two shows in June (16) and featured performances from CeeLo Green, Mark Ronson and Morris Day & The Time in honour of Purple Rain star Prince, who died in April (16).
Ricky Martin headlined a two-night Autism Rocks session in September (16).
