Chris Massey dodges charges over domestic violence arrest

Former child star Chris Massey has escaped charges over a recent domestic violence arrest due to insufficient evidence.
The Zoey 101 star was detained by security guards at the Marquee Club at The Cosmopolitan Hotel, Las Vegas in April (16) for allegedly getting into an altercation with his girlfriend Cassalei Jackson and pushing her to the floor.
He was subsequently arrested by Las Vegas police officers and booked for misdemeanour domestic violence.
Jackson, the daughter of actress Shar Jackson, didn’t press charges and prosecutors have decided against pursing them. Officials at the Clark County District Attorney’s Office have rejected the case based on insufficient evidence, according to TMZ.com.
Massey, 26, is the older brother of That’s So Raven actor Kyle Massey, 24.
