Cliff Richard astounds onlookers by queue jumping

Veteran British singer Sir Cliff Richard ruffled feathers when he jumped ahead of travellers queuing for visas at the U.S. Embassy in London. Obtaining travel documents from the American Embassy in the U.K. capital frequently involves a wait of up to two hours, so onlookers were irritated to see the Summer Holiday hitmaker stroll in and walk straight to the front of the line.
A source tells MailOnline.com, “He just waltzed through in front of everyone. He’ll be throwing televisions out of hotel rooms next.”
A spokesman for the singer has defended his behaviour, saying, “Sir Cliff had an appointment at 8am. It was a VIP appointment which is why he walked past everyone in the queue. The appointment was for a visa for his concert in Brooklyn on June 21, when he is supporting Morrissey.”
