Biography

Colin Mochrie was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Mochrie kickstarted his acting career in comedies like "January Man" (1989) with Kevin Kline and "The Real Blonde" (1998) with Matthew Modine and Catherine Keener. Mochrie also lent his voice to various characters in "George and Martha" (HBO, 1998-2000). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the comedy "Jane White Is Sick & Twisted" (2003) with Ted Shackelford, the comedy "Totally Blonde" (2005) with Howard Dell and the Fred Ewanuick drama "Young Triffie's Been Made Away With" (2006). He also appeared in the Robert Crooks comedic drama "Surviving My Mother" (2007). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the dramatic adaptation "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl" (2008) with Abigail Breslin and the drama "Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy" (2013) with Adam Sinclair. Most recently, Mochrie acted on "Working The Engels" (NBC, 2013-14).
