Collette Lyons worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Debuting in roles such as "Three Texas Steers" (1939) and "The Dolly Sisters" (1945) was where Lyons began her career in film. Lyons next focused her career on film, appearing in "Blondie's Big Deal" (1948) with Penny Singleton and "The Lone Wolf and His Lady" (1949). Toward the end of her career, Lyons acted in the Carol Lynley adaptation sequel "Return to Peyton Place" (1961).
