Biography

Actress-musician Connee Boswell made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen for over fifty years. Boswell's career started with debut roles in "Artists and Models" (1937) and "It's All Yours" (1937). In the years following, Boswell appeared in "Syncopation" (1942) with Adolphe Menjou, "Hollywood Star Revue" (1948-49) and the Howard Miller musical "Senior Prom" (1959). She also appeared in the Steve Martin musical "Pennies From Heaven" (1981). Toward the end of her career, Boswell provided music for "American Cinema" (1994-95). Connee Boswell passed away in October 1976 at the age of 69.
