Corey Feldman arrested

Corey Feldman has been arrested for speeding and drug possession.
The former child actor and his Corey Feldman & The Angels bandmates were pulled over by cops in Los Angeles for speeding on Saturday (21Oct17) while on their way to a gig at the Live Oak’s Bar and Ballroom in Monroe, Louisiana, editors at TMZ.com report.
According to law enforcement, Feldman’s driver’s license was suspended, and officers found a small amount of marijuana while searching the vehicle.
The 46-year-old was arrested and taken to the Richland Parish jail, but was released after paying a small fine for speeding and marijuana possession. Other members of his band were also booked on unspecified drug charges.
Feldman’s arrest comes a few days after he took to Twitter to claim his career was irrevocably damaged after he said he was sexually abused by men in the movie industry during his youth.
In a series of tweets on Thursday (19Oct17), the actor explained that his reluctance to disclose the names of his or anyone else’s abusers comes from his desire to protect his family.
“For the record, I will not be going on a talk show to disclose names of my abusers or anyone else’s abusers. So please stop asking me to do so,” he wrote. “The practice of sensationalising this topic with no plan of action or protection for my family would prove fruitless. I have been through enough!”
“This is not about fear of being sued!” he later tweeted. “Yes, that’s a real possibility. But the bigger reason is safety for my family. (I’m) already over this. My career was shut down, I have been mocked and shamed for doing what I have done to this point! I would love to see others come forward as there are many other witnesses to the crimes I have addressed. Still not one of my peers has offered up anything in a decade!”
