Daisy Tahan was an actress who was familiar with the qualities it takes to bring a drama to the big screen. Tahan began her acting career with roles in dramas like "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999-), "Nurse Jackie" (2008-2015) and "Royal Pains" (2008-). She also acted in various movies at the time, including "Synecdoche, New York" (2008) with Philip Seymour Hoffman and the dramatic adaptation "Then She Found Me" (2008) with Helen Hunt. In the early 2000s and the 2010s, she worked on the silver screen, taking roles in the dramatic comedy "Motherhood" (2009) with Uma Thurman, "Once More with Feeling" (2009) and the Robert De Niro blockbuster comedy sequel "Little Fockers" (2010).
