Dallas Davidson apologises for foul language during bar arrest

Country singer/songwriter Dallas Davidson has apologised to fans for allegedly uttering racial and homophobic slurs during an arrest early on Thursday (10Jul14) for disorderly conduct. The star was taken into custody in Nashville, Tennessee after becoming embroiled in a bar fight.
According to cops, Davidson was heard shouting vile obscenities during the incident, including referring to another man as “that f**king f**got that punched me (sic)”.
He was booked for disorderly conduct and public intoxication and released, and now he has now spoken out about his arrest, insisting he is not racist or homophobic.
He adds to TMZ.com, “Although I cannot defend what I said, I am sorry for my insensitivity.”
Davidson has yet to discuss what sparked the fight.
