Biography

Damon D'Oliveira was widely known for his acting on the big screen. D'Oliveira's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "Short Circuit 2" (1988), the Megan Follows drama "Deep Sleep" (1990) and the action film "Back in Action" (1993) with Rowdy Roddy Piper. He also appeared in the Joanne Whalley comedy "Trial By Jury" (1994). In the nineties and the early 2000s, D'Oliveira devoted his time to various credits, such as "Rude" (1996) starring Maurice Dean Wint, "Total Recall 2070" (Showtime, 1998-2000) and "Uncut" (1999). He also worked on "Love Come Down" with Larenz Tate (2000). More recently, he tackled roles in the dramatic comedy "The Five Senses" (2000) with Molly Parker, "Glitter" (2001) with Mariah Carey and "Bollywood/Hollywood" (2002) with Rahul Khanna. He also appeared in "New York Minute" (2004). Most recently, D'Oliveira produced "The Book Of Negroes" (2014-15).
