Biography

Daniella Alonso is an American actress best known for her roles in "One Tree Hill" and "The Hills Have Eyes 2". Alonso, who is of Puerto Rican and Japanese descent, landed her first film role in the 1997 movie "Academy Boyz", which chronicled the real-life story of a group of inner-city teens who are given scholarships to a top United States boarding school. She began working as a fashion and print model in the early 2000s while appearing on series such as "Law & Order". In 2004, Alonso was cast on "One Tree Hill", and quickly gained notice for her portrayal of the openly bisexual high school student Anna Taggaro. Since leaving the show in 2005, she has landed lead roles in the horror films "The Hills Have Eyes 2" and "Wrong Turn 2: Dead End", and appeared in the Snoop Dogg horror anthology "Hood of Horror". From 2007 to 2008 she portrayed live-in nurse Carlotta Alonso on the critically acclaimed "Friday Night Lights", and later produced and starred in the independent film "A Poor Kid's Guide to Success". Alonso has since appeared on the procedural drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and the short-lived series "My Generation".
