Mcfly star Danny Jones was left red-faced during a gig in England on Tuesday (14May13) when he addressed the wrong city on stage. The All About You hitmakers were playing the Portsmouth Guildhall when guitarist Jones gave a shout out to Plymouth by mistake.
Lead singer Tom Fletcher later took to his Twitter.com page to poke fun at his bandmate, writing, “Soooooo… Danny may or may not have said the wrong City on stage tonight. I am in no way associated with that twerp (idiot)… Had a hoot though, thanks Portsmouth…or Plymouth…or Portugal…”
Plymouth is 136 miles (219 kilometers) away from Portsmouth on the England’s south coast.
