Dave Bautista became obsessed with wrestling after talent scout told him he was ‘horrible’

Guardians Of The Galaxy star Dave Bautista became obsessed about making it as a professional wrestler after he was told he was awful during a try-out.
The star was broke when he decided to give wrestling his all, but his dreams took a while to come true.
“I become obsessed with things and I just pursue them until I become obsessed with other things,” he tells Live With Kelly & Ryan. “I actually got into wrestling because I was broke and I was looking for a way to make money and so I went to a try-out and they told me that I was horrible and to leave and never come back, and I’d never be a professional wrestler.
“I needed that. That just made me mad, so it made me want to pursue it and then I just became obsessed with it.”
Bautista, who was also a teenage breakdancer, has now become the latest wrestler to become a huge movie star, following in the footsteps of the likes of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
And he’s still obsessed about stuff, admitting he collects lunch boxes.
“I have a couple of hundred,” he adds, revealing his favourite is a 1967 Green Hornet lunch box.
