Biography

David Dayan Fisher was nearing 30 when he decided to try his hand at acting. He took a chance and quit his stable job as a chef in order to give his new career the full attention it required. Needless to say, the gamble paid off. After landing a recurring role on the British crime series "The Bill" (ITV, 1984-2010), Fisher began appearing almost exclusively on American television dramas, including "24" (Fox, 2001-2010; 2014), "Numb3rs" (CBS, 2005-2010) and "NCIS" (CBS, 2003- ), in which he landed a recurring role as CIA agent Trent Kort. In addition to his on-screen performances, Fisher is also an accomplished voice actor, portraying the character Xaldin on the "Kingdom Hearts" video-game series, thus underscoring his versatility and range as a multi-hyphenate performer.

Fisher was arrested in September 2011 on suspicion of felony battery. The actor allegedly chocked his neighbor after an argument. Fisher pled "not guilty" in November 2011 in his battery case, claiming it was an act of self-defense.
