Biography

A native of Canada, David Hoselton is a television and film writer and producer most renowned for his work on the medical series "House M. D." After attending college at the University of Toronto, Hoselton dabbled in screenwriting, co-penning the script for the 1987 feature comedy "Like Father Like Son," starring Dudley Moore and Kirk Cameron. During the mid-'90s, he co-wrote "First Knight," a feature film about the Arthurian legend, featuring Richard Gere and Sean Connery, and contributed to the '97 live-action TV movie "Justice League of America" as both a writer and an executive producer. After working for the scripts for the animated films "Brother Bear" and "Over the Hedge," Hoselton, who often collaborates with fellow writer Lorne Cameron, joined the creative team of the lauded TV series "House M.D." and stayed with the show for a number of seasons, producing more than 60 episodes and writing a handful of installments as well.
