Biography

David Wohl was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Wohl began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Sophie's Choice" (1982) with Meryl Streep, "Terms of Endearment" (1983) and the Robert Carradine comedy "Revenge of the Nerds" (1984). He also appeared in "Turk 182" (1985), "Gotcha!" (1985) with Anthony Edwards and "Brewster's Millions" (1985). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Dan Aykroyd comedy "The Couch Trip" (1988), the Shelley Long comedy adventure "Troop Beverly Hills" (1989) and the comedy "Cookie" (1989) with Peter Falk. He also appeared in the dramatic comedy "The War of the Roses" (1989) with Michael Douglas. In his more recent career, he tackled roles in the action film "Hot Shots! Part Deux" (1993) with Charlie Sheen, the Tom Hanks blockbuster action picture "Saving Private Ryan" (1998) and "Joe Gould's Secret" (2000) with Ian Holm. He also appeared in the Josh Peck drama "The Wackness" (2008). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-). Wohl most recently acted in "Are You Joking?" (2015).
