Dejan Acimovic was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Acimovic kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the dramatic period piece "Zivot sa Stricem" (1990) with Davor Janjic, the action film "The Peacemaker" (1997) with George Clooney and the fantastical comedy "Good-Bye, 20th Century" (1998) with Lazar Ristovski. He also appeared in "Je li jiasno, prijatelju?" (2000) with Milan Plestina. His film career continued throughout the early 2000s in productions like the Seka Sablijic foreign "Bal-Can-Can" (2006), the Marko Kovacevic foreign "Mirage" (2006) and the dramatic adventure "Grbavica: The Land of My Dreams" (2007) with Mirjana Karanovic. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the thriller "Hermano" (2007) with Ignazio Oliva, the crime picture "Fade to Black" (2008) with Danny Huston and "The Parade" (2011). Most recently, Acimovic appeared on "The King" (2012).
