Cop-turned-actor Dennis Farina has been charged with three misdemeanors following his arrest at Los Angeles International Airport in early May.
The Saving Private Ryan star, 64, was apprehended at L.A.X. Airport on 11 May after a loaded gun was found in his briefcase as he attempted to board a plane.
He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon following the discovery of the .22 caliber, semiautomatic pistol. Authorities later discovered the gun was also unregistered.
It was announced on Wednesday that Farina will escape felony charges and he has now been officially charged with three misdemeanors.
If convicted on all three counts, he could face two and a half years in prison and a $3,000 fine, according to TMZ.com.
