Biography

Dennis Tufano worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He had a part on the television special "Olivia Newton-John in Concert" (HBO, 1982-83). Tufano worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Perfect Strangers" (ABC, 1985-1993). He also starred in the TV movies "Prime Suspect" (CBS, 1981-82) and "Something So Right" (CBS, 1982-83). Tufano also lent his vocal talents to "Vamp" (1986). In the eighties and the nineties, Tufano devoted his time to various credits, such as the Michael Douglas and Glenn Close smash hit "Fatal Attraction" (1987), "Casual Sex?" (1988) starring Lea Thompson and "Imagining America" (PBS, 1988-89). He also worked on "Dangerous Women" "Extreme Justice" (HBO, 1992-93) and "Noises Off" (1992). Tufano had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties, including "Used People" (1992) starring Shirley MacLaine, "Homeward Bound: the Incredible Journey" with Don Alder (1993) and "Son-In-Law" with Pauly Shore (1993). His credits also expanded to "Iron Will" (1994), "It's Pat" (1994) and "Man of the House" (1995) starring Chevy Chase. Tufano more recently worked on the comedy "While You Were Sleeping" (1995) with Sandra Bullock.
