Doc McStuffins voice actress sues Disney bosses over pay

The teenage actress who voiced children’s cartoon character Doc McStuffins has launched a breach of contract lawsuit against executives at Disney.
Kiara Muhammad claims she has not been properly compensated as part of her merchandising deal with the company and she is seeking an undetermined amount of money, according to Deadline.com.
“Defendants have failed to compensate plaintiff at the rate of 2.5% of net merchandising receipts,” the lawsuit reads. “(The) dispute in the instant matter is in excess of $250,000.”
Muhammad is also seeking waiting time penalties for allegedly not being paid on time for her work. Executives at Disney have yet to respond to the lawsuit.
The 16 year old starred on the show from 2012 to 2015.
