Dorothy Donnelly worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Donnelly worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Sally of the Sawdust" (1925) and "The Student Prince in Old Heidelberg" (1927) starring Ramon Novarro. Donnelly had a diverse career throughout the thirties and the 2010s, including "Poppy" with W C Fields (1936), "Deep in My Heart" (1954) and "The Student Prince" with Ann Blyth (1954). More recently, Donnelly provided music for "Mildred Pierce" (2010-11).
