Biography

Dory Previn inspired many film-going audiences with her amazing musical talents. Previn worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Harper" (1966), "Inside Daisy Clover" with Natalie Wood (1966) and "Valley of the Dolls" (1967) starring Barbara Parkins. In the seventies and the eighties, Previn devoted her time to various credits, such as "Thursday's Game" (ABC, 1973-74) and "Den Vita Vaggen" (1974). Previn had a number of different projects under her belt in the eighties through the nineties, including "Two of a Kind" (CBS, 1982-83), "Playing By Heart" (1998) starring Gillian Anderson and "Fight Club" with Edward Norton (1999). Previn last provided music for the Bradley Cooper smash hit comedic adaptation "Silver Linings Playbook" (2012). Dory Previn passed away in February 2012 at the age of 87.
