Doug McKeon was an actor who starred in many drama films. McKeon kickstarted his acting career with films like "Uncle Joe Shannon" (1978) starring Burt Young, "Night Crossing" (1981) with John Hurt and "On Golden Pond" (1981) starring Katharine Hepburn. McKeon worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "The Edge of Night" (CBS, 1955-1985). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Tell Me My Name" (CBS, 1977-78) and "Daddy, I Don't Like It Like This" (CBS, 1977-78). McKeon was nominated for a New Star Of The Year - Actor Golden Globe Award in 1978. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in "Mischief" (1985), "Deadly Illusion" (1989) and "Where the Red Fern Grows, Part Two" (1993). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the period drama "The Empty Mirror" (1999) with Norman Rodway. Most recently, McKeon acted in "I Spit on Your Grave 3: Vengeance is Mine" (2015).
