Word on the street is that Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive. The Fast and Furious actor will be taking over for retired soccer hottie David Beckham was who was named the sexiest man alive in 2015.

The former wrestler is currently in Hawaii filming the Jumanji sequel, one of his numerous upcoming projects. Aside from Jumanji, Johnson stars in the HBO comedy, Ballers, he will star in the eighth installment of The Fast and The Furious franchise, the upcoming Baywatch film and this week his latest film, Disney’s Moana drops into theaters.
Johnson is the latest “Sexiest Man” in a long list of men going back to 1985 when Mel Gibson was first given the title.
