Actor DYLAN BAKER escaped a terrifying fire at his apartment block in New York City on Tuesday (01Sep15).
The Spider-Man 2 star was at home when a blaze broke out at the building in Hell’s Kitchen in Manhattan, and he managed to get his family out before the flames spread from a neighbour’s apartment.
Reports suggest Baker attempted to rescue a female resident, but was pushed back by smoke. The woman was later found by firefighters and admitted to a local hospital in a serious condition, according to the New York Daily News.
Emergency services managed to extinguish the fire within 30 minutes.
