Eagles Of Death Metal announce Paris return in touring plans

Rockers Eagles of Death Metal are to complete the tour halted by a terrorist attack on a concert in Paris in November (15), and return to play in the French capital.
In the wake of the atrocity at the city’s Bataclan theatre, in which 89 people were killed, the band abandoned its Nos Amis tour, cancelling concerts in a number of European venues.
However, the rockers have now announced they will reschedule the concerts for 2016, travelling the continent between February and August.
The tour itinerary includes an emotional return to the city of Paris, where they will play at the Olympia venue on 16 February (16). Fans who were at the Bataclan show on 13 November (15) will be entitled to a free ticket to the new concert.
Speaking about the tour plans and his band’s return to Paris, the rock group’s frontman Jesse Hughes praised the people of the city and those who had survived the terrifying events at the gig.
“The people of Paris have always been incredible to us, and our feeling of love towards this beautiful city and its people has been reinforced a million times over this past month,” Jesse says.
“Hearing the stories of the survivors, the injured and those who have lost loved ones has been overwhelming. Not returning to finish our set was never an option. We look forward to coming back in February and continuing our mission to bring rock ‘n’ roll to the world.”
Eagles of Death Metal have already briefly returned to the Paris stage, joining U2 during the Irish legends’ concert earlier this month. (Dec15).
